Temple Baptist Church

Our Pastor

 

Pastor Dan Sowards was called to Temple Baptist Church in August of 2019. Pastor Sowards has been blessed with a wonderful wife Lisa, and three wonderful children Abigail, Brooke, and Hutson(from right). Pastor Sowards was saved at the age of 21 in his parent's home in Germantown, Ohio. Pastor Sowards was then baptized and began serving at Cornerstone Baptist Temple in Dayton, Ohio under Pastor Jerry Siler. In 2009, Pastor Sowards surrendered to the call to Preach The Gospel. In 2011, Pastor Sowards and his family were led to Louisville, Ky to Maryville Baptist Church under Pastor Jack Roberts. Pastor Sowards and his family served at Maryville until they were called to Temple Baptist Church. Pastor Sowards and his family were very grateful to serve under two Faithful Pastors, Pastor Jerry Siler and Pastor Jack Roberts. Pastor Sowards and his family are very grateful to now be serving at Temple Baptist Church.
